The Swatch Snowpark Sölden is taking Shape!
Already three days ago, the snowmaking was finished and since then our boys are giving everything to push the monster-park forward! And already it is looking good…really good! Hopefully the predicted warm weather won’t spoil everything, but parkdesigner Rudi Wyhlidal and his team of reckless shapers are pushing masses of snow in the parkarea, to secure a longlasting and weather-withstanding snowpark in order to guarantee the best possible conditions for all the Christmas holidays’ riders!
But not only rail-wise the season 2009/10 will become awesome. As a special treat for the Sölden shredders, a new and challenging 3 kickerline will push the park! The third kicker will find its place exactly where the wallride had been the last seasons. Certainly, the Swatch Shoot my Ride will be an integral part of the Swatch Snowpark, so you can eternalize your most stylish tricks and moves on picture! On top of it, QParks has prepared some special gifts for the Sölden-riders. Huge investments were made aby the Sölden Railways (Bergbahnen Sölden) and this season, a whole bunch of new obstacles have been bought and stand ready for being part of the massive set-up 2010! Amongst others, a brand-new Up/Down-Butterbox, an extravagant Softbow-Butterbox and a Flat-/Down-Rail will tune up the this year’s set-up. Also, the youngest among us have every right to cheer: A 3m Up/Down-Box as well as a 3m Rainbow especially for kids will be installed. HOWEVER, according to parkdesigner Rudi Wyhlidal, the absolute highlights will be an enormous special obstacle, an exorbitant Elefantbox by our new sponsor Oakley and a 3m Stiffy Rocketrail.
